A symbol of modernity, an array of geometric shapes are applied into this residential design as part of the defining characteristics of each room.
While sticking to a minimalist approach, the team from Northmos has incorporated geometric shapes and dramatic lighting to bring a clean and trendy vibe into the design, ensuring that the interior spaces are well balanced aesthetically without appearing bare. Anchored by an asymmetrical wall feature complemented with backlights that serves as a stylishbackdrop for the wall-mounted TV, the living area easily became the centre of attention in the openly spacious common area.
Opting for simplicity and a neutral colour palette in its furnishings, the ground floor, which houses the living room, dining area, kitchen space and a home office, is ultimately embedded with a modern yet homely vibe. At the same time, the team has layered the design with a sleek wooden feature onto the ceiling, which connects the living room with the kitchen. Divided only by a sleek black pillar, the open-style home office fits into the overall layout seamlessly with a futuristic-looking wall decor.
In order to provide connectivity in its design, the bedrooms are also decorated with black metal frames and contemporary features. The cosy ambience created by the application of simple neutral colour palette is further accentuated by the soothing sight of shadows produced by carefully positioned lights. Metal finishes were also included to ensure that the design retains its contemporary edge. On the other hand, the second bedroom is furnished with a charming built-in bunk bed and a gorgeous wallpaper selection which complements its dainty decor.
